64th International Cartoon Contest "Golden Hat", Belgium 2025

The Golden Hat is an international cartoon competition associated with the Cartoon Festival Knokke-Heist, Belgium.

The festival will reach its 64th edition in 2025, making it the oldest Cartoon Festival in the world.

Cairo to host international caricature exhibition celebrating Gandhi’s birth anniversary

 

"Caricature Exhibition on Mahatma Gandhi" was inaugurated by Ambassador Ajit Gupte, and Mohamed Amin, editor in chief of October magazine, and cartoonist Fawzy Morsy, at Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti.

8th International Cartoon Gathering celebrates late Egyptian comedian Samir Ghanem

The exhibition's opening ceremony saw many important figures from Egypt's cultural scene in attendance, including Minister of Culture Dr. Ahmed Hano, Head of the Fine Arts Sector at the Ministry Dr. Walid Qanoush, President of Egyptian Caricature Association Mostafa El-Sheikh, Cultural Counselor at the Spanish Embassy in Cairo Dr. Magdalena Cruz, General Coordinator of the exhibition Fawzy Morsy, and along with a group of artists, media professionals, members of the Egyptian Caricature Association, and caricature art enthusiasts.

On the occasion of the celebration of Tagore’s birth anniversary, the Maulana Azad Indian Cultural Center in Zamalek hosted an exhibition of caricature portraits under the title “Tagore – Mahfouz”.
